We conduct Alpha playtests from time to time before we release our games. These playtests help us make the game as balanced, compatible, performant, and fun as possible before release, and are also opportunities for players to offer feedback to the studio. The Breakaway Alpha is a chance for us to hear your feedback and shore up our technology before launch. Once we open the Alpha we’ll grow gradually week over week to maintain a good player experience. Look for details about outgoing invites on our news site at playbreakaway.com
We’re here to learn, and that includes learning from our Alpha community. We’ll set our roadmap once we have a chance to hear from them.
We want to make Breakaway the best experience possible for all players, so Alpha playtests aren’t available in all regions at this time. If you really want to play Breakaway, but the Alpha isn’t available in your region, let us know on our forums!
As a technical test, the Alpha currently supports English only, and is only recommended for play within North America. Both our language and our regional support will increase before official launch.
