The Holiday Dodgeball Tournament has been cancelled.
We apologize to those who have already signed up for our 2011 Holiday Dodgeball Tournament. We are still in our first year and we are still learning as we grow. Unfortunately, we did not expect the holiday season to affect our sign ups as they have, and we realize our start dates should allow more time after the new year for you to form teams and prepare for the upcoming season. We are working to find a future date to hold the tournament and we will inform you as soon as we determine them. We want you to know we are working hard to provide Vancouver with a fun and social activities, so please forgive us as we hit bumps on the road along the way.
Those who have already sign-up will have the option for a full-refund. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this notice.
Overview
Breakaway Social Sports have teamed up with G6 Airpark for our first annual Holiday Dodgeball Tournament with a Grand Prize of $1000 cash! Wrap up the new year by playing in this exciting tournament hosted at Vancouver's newest trampoline facility at G6 Airpark … Dodgeball, trampoline style (see video below to find out more).
What you need to know:
8 Players per team, $25 per player
2 Stages of the tournament
Stage 1: Round Robin - Dec 28th-29th
Teams will belong to a group. Each group will have at least 4 teams. Every team in each group plays each other. Top 2 teams from each group advance to the next stage.
Stage 2: Single-Elimination - Dec 31st
Top 2 teams from each group will be ranked (i.e. A1, B2, etc). Teams will compete in a bracket style tournament to determine the champion.
